Gee's Bend Quilts

Gee’s Bend is a rural community located near the Alabama River southwest of Selma, Alabama. The women of this town developed a bold and different style of quilting with a geometric simplicity reminiscent of Amish quilts and modern art. They are original and unique pieces of art in themselves.
